MAC & Too Faced Haul

Sorry I have been slacking. I started a new job and it has been taking up most of my time. This haul actually picks up from the NARS haul. I didn't have the chance to post everything at that time so I am going to continue now. Most of this stuff was bought awhile ago but I just haven't had the chance to put anything up.

In my quest to become a better beauty buyer I am trying to compile MAC eye shadows to fill up my 15 MAC Pro Palette Pan. I have been getting a lot of the normal potted eye shadows for about half the price and eventually I am going to depot them all. I already have a list of the shades that I want so I have been very specific on what I have been getting. The first one I got was Woodwinked but I didn't take a picture of that one. The second one I got was Carbon. This is your basic black eye shadow from MAC in order to do a Smokey eye and so much more.

Then I got MAC Mulch. However, it happened to be the Hello Kitty special edition so it came it really cute packaging. The sender also sent me a free MAC shadow in a deep blue which was awesome. I was actually looking for a blue too so I guess I killed two birds with one stone:)
Below they are swatched. I think the both come out very lovely.

The last item I got from MAC was a discontinued lip gloss called Sprightly. I saw it and I just loved the color so much. I think it is a limited edition and they don't make it anymore so I was very excited that I was still able to get it.
It is a really pretty almost sheer golden pink. I think it will look great with a Smokey eye look.

Next is my eyeshadow duo from Too Faced. I discovered these two colors in my Too Face Nude Palette and fell in love with them. The Nude Palette is sometimes to big to carry around so this is a good little pot to take on the go. The shade names are Teddy Bear and Heaven. Heaven is the perfect highlighter and Teddy Bear makes it into the perfect everyday nude eye.

I was going to post more products but my computer is acting up so I will save those for a later date. I hope you enjoy and don't forget to comment and subscribe!

Huge Nars Haul!!!

So, one of my very close friends works at Nars. Last weekend (since she gets all her make up for free) she gave me a huge goody bag of make up. It had to be over $300 worth of make up and I love her for it. Alas, the massive NARS Haul. Let me know your thoughts:)

I have been wanting to try these following two NARS Legends; The Laguna Bronzer and the Orgasam Blush. I was not disappointed by either. I think the Laguna Bronzer works great on all skin tones along with the Orgasm Blush and that is why they have this amazing following.

She also gave me (4) eyeshadow duos. It is really a great spectrum of colors. I think my favorite is Hula Hula. I just love the light pink of gold with actual flecs of sparkles you can see.

From Left to Right: Portobello, Scorching Sun, Hula Hula, EGEA

I am not sure what happened to my Portobello swatch but I will post it later. Above is the swatch of the Scorching Sun Eyeshadow duo.

This is the swatch of Hula Hula. The photo doesn't do it justice. So pretty!!!
This isn't a great picture of EGEA either.

The next set of eyeshadows that I got were singles. I think these are the best size. So easy to carry around.
From Left to Right: Grenadines, Night Sun, Baby Girl

The last items that I got was a Lipstick, the new Orgasam Illuminator and a 3 in 1 Beauty Stick.
From Left to Right: Cap Vert 3 in 1 Beauty Stick, Porte Vecchio Lipsticl, Orgasam Illuminator
The 3 in 1 Beauty Stick is very useful but this color might be too dark for my skin tone so I might use it when I get tanner. The lipstick is also not my "normal" color but actually looks divine on. The Orgasam Illuminator is something that is sold out in almost every Sephora I have been to but, I am not sure if I get it or like the way it looks on. I guess only time will tell!

That is the whole NARS Haul sans one lipgloss which I will put up in the next blog post.
Which, will be hopefully by the end of this week. I have new products from MAC, NYX, Chanel, Trish McEvoy, Urban Decay, and Too Faced. Thanks for reading and I look forward to all comment posts below :)

Stilla, Smashbox and Laura Mercier

A while back I got the Stilla All Over Shimmer Compact in a gift set from a bigger Stilla package. It promises to give you a little extra shimmer and shine on your face and body when you go out on the town.

It has a really pretty pink glow to it. I think the overall concept of this product is nice but, I honestly didn't really see any big difference on my face when I used it. Color swab below.

It only looks that visible because I had to swatch it on my hand about 4-5 times.
The next item I purchased was from Smashbox. I am generally always pleased with their products, especially their eye shadows, and this palette did not fail my expectations. I think it has such a great variety of color and I feel like the shadows go on really smoothly and stays on your lids for a very long time.

It even comes with a black eyeliner pot. I think this is the perfect compact if you are on the go and need to drop something in your make up bag. It has something for everyone!
The last product I got over Christmas, (I know I am a little late) was my Laura Mercier travel brush set.

I have been on the look out for brushes forever. I am still always on the lookout:) You can see that it comes with all the basic brushes that one would need.

As you can see it also comes in this really cute travel case. All in all, I am pretty pleased with this brush set!
